Kioxia Holdings Corporation, a world leader in memory solutions, today announced that Kioxia Iwate Corporation has achieved Platinum Status under the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Validated Assessment Program for the third time. The RBA promotes responsible business practices and works to protect the rights and well-being of workers throughout global supply chains. The certification applies to Kioxia Iwate Corporation’s Kitakami Plant in Iwate prefecture, Japan, following an audit conducted in August 2026. Kioxia Group joined the RBA in July 2021, and has since incorporated the RBA Code of Conduct into its management policies.
Conducted by an RBA-commissioned third-party organization, the audit evaluated Kitakami Plant’s conformance with the RBA’s Validated Assessment Program standards in the areas of labor, health and safety, environment, ethics and management systems. The plant received the maximum score and was awarded Platinum Status, the highest level of recognition by the RBA.
Kioxia Group will continue to implement its responsible business initiatives based on the RBA Code of Conduct and strive to enhance trust among its stakeholders.
