Kioxia Holdings Corporation, a world leader in memory solutions, today announced that it has been selected as an SX-Nominated Company1 within the SX Brands 2026 program,2 a joint initiative by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The SX Brands program recognizes forward-looking companies that have enhanced their capacity to generate resources for sustainable growth and increase corporate value through a process of Sustainability Transformation (SX). Kioxia is among a select group of two companies designated as “SX-Nominated” in recognition of their specific sustainability strategies and initiatives, from among the applicants not selected as SX Brands 2026.
Kioxia was highly evaluated for its compelling vision of creating a new future through its core memory technologies and products, which were seen as addressing global megatrends. Furthermore, as a manufacturer of flash memory and solid-state drives (SSDs), the company was commended by the selection committee for its proactive strategy in balancing risks and opportunities, specifically noting the preparations it has made to capture the significant growth in the flash memory and SSD market driven by the rapid expansion of AI-generated data.
